Form: Coyote. Will probably get a bandana tied around its neck at one point or another.
Why this form: Coyotes are often called American Jackals, which ties Rick back to Egypt and Egyptian mythology and symbolism in a roundabout sort of way, while still keeping him wholly American in that scrappy, masculine, faintly stereotypical sort of way. Because Jackals are associated with a sort of scrappy toughness that Rick certainly possesses in large quantities-- he marched a ragtag bunch of Foreign Legion soldiers across the desert, trudged back alone when the odds were against him, survived a hanging. Coyotes are survivors too, and represent that part of Rick nicely. Rick is also tough and dangerous, and coyotes aren't anyone you want to run into if they don't like you too much.
